I am originally from St. Louis Missouri. After becoming a mother I moved to Las Vegas to be with my mom and worked in the travel industry. Spending time working with kids in Young life I realized that teaching was my dream. With the support of a great boss I received a B.S. in Science Education from UNLV and then received a Masters in Technology Curriculum and Instruction also from UNLV. I moved to Colorado from Las Vegas in 2006 to be with my family. Currently I am a lead teacher for The Med School @Manual, which has become a great venue for me to blend my love of science while also giving students the support I had to go after their goals. I have 2 grandchildren who are my joy(of the 3 jobs she has had – mom, teacher and now grandma – this is the best.)
