December 4th News

Hello Manual Families,

There are only nine days left of this semester and it is imperative that we all work together to ensure our students’ success as this semester comes to an end. In order to do this together, I am asking for the following next steps that will help our students excel.

  1. Attendance: Making sure your student is here every day for the next nine days will be essential to their success. Please have them arrive by 8:20 to ensure they are ready and in class by 8:30.
  2. Grades: Asking your student about each of their grades and their plans for improvement will help them take next steps.
  3. Studying: Manual is bringing Finals Week back. Every class will have a final at the end of the semester and preparing for for finals will important for students to succeed. Ask your student:
    1. What kind of finals do you have in each class? What will those look like?”
    2. “How are you preparing for your final exams?”
    3. When are you planning on studying and preparing for your exams?”

Our student’s success will depend on our ability to work together and the next two weeks will be critical in the success of our students.
