Hello Manual Families,

We made it to the end of Quarter III and what a quarter it was. There is so much to celebrate and be proud of at Manual and so much growth and change occurring at this amazing school. Here are just some high level celebrations as we end quarter three.

  • Our Sophomores and Juniors grew and average of 60 points on their SAT Score between October and February. Huge growth!
  • Our enrollment is up 60 students from this time last year. We have experienced very little drop in enrollment this year like we have in previous years.
  • Our attendance is up 8% from year to date last year and our chronic absenteeism is down 30% from year to date last year. The best data in DPS.
  • Our Student Voice and Leadership Team will be presenting at the American Educational Research Association Conference in Philadelphia next month.
  • Our Boys Basketball Team made it to the Sweet 16 of the State Tournament.
  • Manual will be one of the first high schools to perform the musical Six which starts this week.
  • College acceptances are coming in including: Lewis and Clark, CU-Boulder, Metro State, University of Oklahoma, Louisiana State University, Denver University and many more!

There is so much to celebrate and so many achievements made by our students and we are not done yet!
