Posted March 4, 2024

Hello Manual Families,

We are just four school days away from the end of Quarter Three and the work we have all done so far has made this year very successful for our students. And we’re not done yet. This letter will serve as a reminder of our celebrations and priorities that must be communicate to end this quarter strong.

Celebrations

  • Shout out to the students and staff in our Multi-Intensive and Multi-Intensive Autism Centers who led an all-school meeting for World Inclusion Day. Manual is a model for inclusion in Denver Public Schools and this is just another example of how our students all show up to celebrate one another.
  • Manual’s Student Voice and Leadership Team was selected to present at the American Education Research Association (AERA) Conference in Philadelphia next month. Congratulations SVL Team!
  • Manual’s Boys Basketball team made it to the Sweet 16 of the State Tournament. Their playoff run ended on Saturday with a 61 – 37 loss at Centauri on Saturday. Congratulations on a long and successful season for our boys team.

Focus Areas:

  3. Grades: All late work is due by Thursday, March 7th by 4:00 p.m. so teachers can grade on March, 8th.
  4. Achievement: Quarter III grades are official grades. They are not progress monitoring grades so this week matters a lot for on track to graduate.
