Kaiser Permanente provided a multi-year grant that enabled Manual to be one of the first schools to offer a STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) BioMedical Pathway called MedConnect. This pioneering program prepares students for four-year college programs and careers in the health sector, which is experiencing double-digit growth nationwide.
Classes include general health sciences, sports medicine, biotechnology, and medical innovations. Thunderbolts who successfully master the coursework are given the opportunity to receive industry certification.
